Drakes of Torbay Funeral Service was founded in 1983. We recognise how important it is to be at the heart of our local Torquay, Devon community.
The team at our Torquay funeral home will provide advice at every stage of the funeral planning process, and will arrange an individual and unique funeral to help you celebrate the life of your loved one. We have our own service venue on-site.
Here at Drakes of Torbay Funeral Service we also offer an affordable prepaid funeral plan, Choice, so that you can arrange and pay for a funeral in advance. This will protect your family from rising costs and remove uncertainty about your wishes.
If you would like to talk to us about planning a funeral, or our Choice plan, please come and see us in any of our funeral homes, or if you’d rather we can arrange a home visit. We’re also available 24 hours a day on the phone so if you need anything please don’t hesitate to call your local funeral home.

I like being able to help people during their time of need.
Have you done any other roles in the funeral profession?
I began working at a young age with my family who ran a funeral business, starting with the cleaning and gradually working through a variety of different roles to become a Funeral Director.

I am proud of all the services that I arrange and conduct.
Personal interests
Depending on the season it will be cricket or rugby and of course the end of match pint – whether I am celebrating or commiserating.
